What's new

PTI’s latest plans will die a natural death: PM

Having elections is the first step, perhaps baby step.

Pakistani politicians and educated elite hate baby steps

So they do their level best to bring in the army, because the love military boots on their @rses.

Funny. Many elections were held in Syria and Egypt continuously where civil or military dictators received majority votes over and over again, yet they got nowhere close to democracy :D

Comparing Egypt and Syria to Pakistan?

Shabash.

Very Shabash.

Elections are Syria were worse than those held by military dictators in Pakistan.

Even then, 10 years and those dictators were booted out by our army and our people.

Syria and Egypt. hahaha.

But you won't know

Pakistan Tehreke Internet never taught you this.

Sorry.

The system you think is democracy is NOT democracy at all. I live in the world's best democracy and Pakistan is not even close to what a democracy should be. Having elections every 5 years does not bring democracy :D

My friend its a waste of time reasoning with dumb Noony tunes slaves, when you live in countries like Western Europe or North America, people treat you with honour, respect and dignity, health and education is top class and infrastructure is far superior you can only dream of having in Pakistan. When the whole system is corrupt in Pakistan there is simply no hope, When you have thieves like Nawaz or pee pee Zardari they are only out there to make money, they dont care for Pakistan. Noora king needs to understand that PTI is going no where, the ball is simply in Noora's court he needs to sit down with PTI and look for a solution out of the present political crisis.

Actually i kinda agree. This is not a long term or effective solution.Infact i doubt this will bring any fruits. All this will do is piss the people off. N wont get effected at all and Neither will PTI.

Although i do say if he is willing for a more lenient dialogue then N should give it another shot rather than being rigid here. I know that imran holds no leverage but N will come out better looking if they do negotiations and claim that they can handle nay situation.

Not affected? Fake PM just ordered his money launderer Ishaq Dar to negotiate with PTI before Wheel Jam. LOLZ. Soosoo Nikal geya :D

I think there is a Pashtunistan in makings here. IK will be the PM for that as it'll be ethnic based.

How do you relate IK's madness to the long dead concept of Pashtunistan? Numerically, IK has way more supporters in Punjab than in KPK. If you look at last election results, wherever PTI lost in Punjab, it lost by thin margins mostly; meaning that PTI has a very healthy support base in Punjab.

Secondly, this generation of Pushtuns is fiercely patriotic. And finally, IK is not that crazy.

System means system, not democrazy or monorachy. Countries do flourish who has stable system. And fall when system falls. Look around i don't need to provide you example. Norway or Denmark are one of the oldest stable system. Also, they were the countries which adopt to stay away from two consecutive world wars. Here in Oman, in past 1 century only three times proper power struggle happen. And look at the results. Check what happen to Russia when power struggle happen, and china when nothing happen for so many years, Malaysia, Indonesia. Vietnam, all start to see the future only after stable system. examples are endless... Today's world, countries don't fail from external fights, enemy state surrounding, but only from internal power struggle, which we already saw in past (and didn't learn a bit).

Having 5 year election, don't bring democrazy but stability to the system. Corrupt, unjust, but a stable governing system. The system which will not have a sympathy on all tried and failed to deliver ones. The system where, people knows who are what. People will know once wrong choice means 5 years of suffering, no noora kushti specialist gonna come and save you. So they will start making right decisions. And if system is stable, opportunists will also bring some loyal patriotic leaders.

There are no power struggle issues in the countries you mentioned because there is no mafia political groups over there. Scandinavian democracy is the most transparent in the world. There is no two-party system or muk maka here. Almost every government is a multi party coalition so these countries move on. While in Pakistan we have outrageous dhandli, political mafias that rig elections and so on. And then people like you blame IK for causing riots instead of blaming those who rigged the elections in the first place :D

Negotiate about what? Can you please share Imran Khan's plan for reforming the Election commission, law enforcement and judiciary? I would like to understand what kinds of "changes" Imran is going to be negotiating with the current government over.

wrongness is there, since system is not stable, there is continue power struggle, where people know they can get ride any thing, just call army or some other xyz party to save the show, and other parties also wait for same time to make use of it. Politics has being business, since they know they can invest today tomorrow there will be return. They are not worried about failing since they know if they fail today then there is tomorrow. 5 year means, if you fail today there is very late tomorrow. Those handover to next government will be most important phase, where whole parties will be washed for their last deed. Too many changes from past 25 years has groom a confuse nation, which don't know what is right what is wrong, what is the purpose of Law, What is purpose of Law enforcement, Political Business men knows how to use sympathy of the people. And here we are, a lala land where everyone powerful guy wants more power since they know there is an opportunity, system is weak, write of state is weak.

Its already been explained thousands times over!
  • Impartial investigation of past elections
  • Maximum punishment for those who rigged elections
  • Amendment in laws to make sure free and fair elections next time

LOL :D Its funny when elections are rigged, there are no riots. And when there are riots, rioters are blamed. So rigging becomes a norm because it should be allowed but not the rioting :D
