Its quite clear Bilawal is the new poster boy for the establishment and PPP making multiple US visits to be in their good books. I feel they have missed the mark and living in the 90s.

Pakistan is not that strategically important for the US and secondly the US has no stamina to support a PPP + establishment regime that does not represent Pakistanis.

Zardari dies, Bilawal will die a slow death, with the 2nd tier leadership taking him out. PTI should smartly wait it out, and go for the kill when Zardari dies. Better yet, if a grass root party from Sindh can come in and take the helm.

currently pti dont need ppp to win, if pti win from punjab in big number, kpk and few in karachi sindh then its pti can do changes in constitution, make laws so ppp will be insecure

If there are any changes in the constitution to be made, then it would be best to have an agreement beforehand with PTI to safeguard PPP interests such as 5 year term for Head of Government, regular holding of Elections and other clauses with guarantees. It would also be best for the country in the long term to have a balance.

PTI and PPP have had successful ventures in provincial and national capacity. The 2 progressive parties idealize the Bhuttos and El Xulfiqars vision for Pakistan.

Maybe the Ex-Servicemen can help convince the Army Top Brass to support the new PTI-PPP Alliance and thus close the present rift in the ranks. Adil Raja says that there can be a Colonels uprising. PESA in a Press Conference has supported holding of fresh elections. PPP can get a good deal now but after some days, PTI would not be needing PPP as much.

Because of the binary rhetoric constantly shoved down the throats of the base that supporting/talking to anyone else is akin to picking baatil over Islam. This rhetoric has left no space for political dialogue. Quite similar to the Trump rhetoric based on a non-truth that Democrats are a pedophile cabal which cannot be trusted to run the US (mind you, I have no sympathy for Democrats).

This is extremism in politics. Unfortunately we have learned nothing from extremism in religion and now we rush head-long with another round of destruction and discord with political extremism.

Currently everyone in Pakistan is talking past each other and not to each other because the base has been so charged up that even the leader doesn't know how to climb back from the precipice and moderate the views of his base.

I say this being mindful of the reality which is that IK/PTI are absolutely right in calling for elections within 90 days etc. However, if the legal side is in a state of paralysis, the establishment is not on the same page, then maybe the easier of the hurdles is to talk to political adversaries and have some coming-together on some areas if not all.

Establishment wants to keep its stranglehold on the country by promoting these do no gooders as political opponents, shoving them down the throats of the awam, when in reality they are dictators disguised as democrats.

Were seeing the long running trailer of democracy and its fruits in Sindh so why doesnt Establishment take a dose of its own medicine and appoint Zardari as Army Chief next huh? Bilawal can be given charge of Fauji group of companies.
