LAHORE: The newly elected government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in Punjab is embroiled in controversies one after another.

The new one to hit the provincial government is the use of abusive language by the Information Minister Fayyazul Hassan Chohan during an TV interview last night.


Naya Pakistan: 10 days, 10 controversies


The minister was asked some 'tough questions' by the anchor , which angered Chohan and he lost his cool. He then hurled abuses and stood up.

While leaving, he was recorded in a off the record video, saying 'you guys should be ashamed of, is this the way?'

In another video leaked on social media, the minister was seen speaking at an event in Lahore and warning the cinema owners to not put 'half-naked' pictures of actresses .

Later, Senior Punjab Minister Aleem Khan apologised over the behaviour of his colleague. The issue must have been brought into the knowledge of Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, he added.

But we must understand these newly elect people come to power very first time and they need some time to adjust and absorb criticism...They just comes to know that criticize others is easy but what it feels when at the receiving end need time to develop the capability to bear it and respond accordingly.

Yes they learned well how to perform opposition role although it is debatable that their actions are correct or betterment for they country and now they will learn how to run a Govt and how to absorb criticism.
They made huge claims and big hopes, any delay in delivering will cause massive criticism.

So how does losing cool on a tv show puts the entire government in hot waters? What weird logic is this? And yes media needs to be tamed. They need to remain in their limits. From questioning SC decisions to promoting certain agenda, media has been nothing but a major benefactor in creating chaos in Pakistan.

I don't give a hell about what a minister says for me a common Pakistani the main news is why the money which should have been spent on me was spent on false media. Why my brothers and sister in Pakistan were deprived of their betterment and this media received billions. What is this where is the money of tax payers?

We are collecting Rs 10 like orphans for the construction of our dam and here billions were wasted to feed media mafia seriously this has brought tears in my eyes. Just look at the amount of injustice done to us.
