PTI Imran Khan appreciates Punjab govt

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has strongly appreciated the generous step of the provincial government of Punjab for land issuance to NAMAL university Mianwali despite political differences.


PTI’s chief Imran Khan was addressing to the prestigious academic event of the first convocation of NAMAL university, established in the Mianwali district of Punjab.

Imran Khan thanked his political rival, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N)-led, Punjab government for the generous step in provision of education to the needy students by granting significant figure of land up to 1000 acres.

According to TNT reports, the Chief Minister of Punjab province, Shahbaz Sharif had approved allotment of one thousand acres of land for construction of Imran Khan’s college in Mianwali despite facing criticism and political pressure from his own political party.

Khan clarified that he is strict opponent of the Punjab government but thankful in the matter regarding the prominent grant for the varsity’s land.

The PTI chief severely criticised the ongoing systems in the country; said that frequent justice and standard education are only available to the riches.

He said that two separate educational systems with discrimination of poors and elite are present in the country as the lower class student got education in Urdu medium while the upper class student receives education in English medium.

Khan reiterated that there is no personal or political planning connected with the establishment of NAMAL College but it is the project for next generation of Pakistan and 90% students are getting free education.

He claimed that the Pakistan is amongst the top five countries across the globe which provides significant funding to the needy communities.
