So he was willing to accept who he considers to be a traitor in perhaps the most important post of all? That is discordant, totally, and does not support your argument that he wanted to extend the power of a traitor out of his concern for the nation. More like a quid pro quo to keep his ego appeased with the semblance of power.

I don't buy his traitor narrative, so you can't pin that on me.

Things get destabilized, IK asks the COAS that if this is all because of the extension, then I will give you an extension and we can make a change in the law. The COAS does not accept the offer, the VoNC happens. IK calls him out on this destabilization. How difficult is this to comprehend?

Things aren't always black and white in politics. Agr ab baat shuru hui to phir we'll have to go back to Aug 2021, when a certain 2 star went to London!

I am living in my house all well and dandy.

I have some beef with a neighbor of mine.

I also took a loan from you sometime back but am on track to pay it back according to the terms and conditions.

Now while my neighbor is pestering me over that beef of ours, you see an opportunity and connive with the neighbor, to put pressure on me to get some other favors.

I tell you that buddy, I will pay off your complete loan, plus a bit of extra interest if you just go away for a while and let me handle my neighbor first.

You do not agree to do that.

So now while previously I had beef with my neighbor but only had a loan to give to you, I now have a beef with you too and I call both of you out.

IK is uncontrollable at the moment. He is waiting, but he won't accept interference by the next chief as well. So a written script won't work with him. Establishment tried that with him last year on the appointment of ISI chief, and the result is in front of us.

Inshallah when he comes to power next, he will know establishment will be on a short leash. He could avoided all this by firing Bajwa last year when DGISI issue happened and calls started going from Bajwa to Zardari etc or when Bajwa was pushing for Aleem Khan. At the least an extension is very harmful for Pakistan and it’s army and only beneficial for the one getting it. IK should see his weakness also, he’s a horrible judge of people. Only Reham worse than Bajwa in terms of people he picked. Well picked to continue in Bajwas case.

Inshallah won’t take long to fix. There is tremendous hatred for Bajwa in army except for few generals (not all) who are standing with Bajwa.
