In case you missed it during the political unrest in the country. Here's another Laurel for Pakistan.
Officer Cadet Shaheeer Ullah Khan, from a village in Pabbi, KPK, won 3 awards at Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, UK.
Last month Officer Cadet Shaheer Ullah Khan was presented with three awards by General Sir Peter Wall, Chief of the General Staff, at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst’s annual ‘The Sovereign’s Parade’ on Friday. Shaheer hails from a village in Pabbi, Nowshehra, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He was given ‘The Overseas Award’ for achieving the highest position amongst the Overseas Cadets on the Queen’s Medal Table.
The Queen’s Medal Table is based on an accumulation of all the objective testing conducted throughout the Commissioning Course covering military, academic and practical studies, with a ratio of 30:70 in favor of the military score.
He was given ‘HRH Prince Saud Abdullah Faisal of Saudi Arabia Prize’ for obtaining the ‘best aggregate mark in Academic Subjects’ and he also received ‘The Bahrain Communications and Applied Behavioral Science Prize’ for producing the best performance in Communication & Applied Behavioral Science. Shaheer returned to Pakistan to PMA Kakul and has resumed his training.
