پاکستان میں صوبہ خیبرپختونخوا کے سابقہ قبائلی اضلاع میں شدت پسندوں کی کارروائیوں کے خلاف جنوبی وزیرستان کے علاقے وانا میں ایک بڑا احتجاجی مظاہرہ کیا گیا ہے۔
اس دوران مظاہرین نے سفید پرچم تھام رکھے تھے جن پر ’امن‘ درج تھا اور وہ اپنے علاقوں میں امن و سلامتی کا مطالبہ کرتے ہوئے نعرے لگا رہے تھے۔
مظاہرے میں لوگوں کی ایک تعداد نے اعظم ورسک سے وانا کی طرف پیدل احتجاج کیا جبکہ وانا بازار کو بند رکھا گیا۔

ادھر فوج کے شعبہ تعلقات عامہ (آئی ایس پی آر) نے بتایا ہے کہ سکیورٹی فورسز نے ضلع لوئر وزیرستان میں انٹیلیجنس پر مبنی آپریشن کیا ہے جس میں تحریک طالبان پاکستان (ٹی ٹی پی) کے ایک کمانڈر سمیت 11 دہشتگرد ہلاک ہوئے ہیں۔ خیال رہے کہ یہ ٹی ٹی پی کمانڈر ضلع میں تھانوں پر حملوں میں ملوث تھا۔
دوسری طرف حکام کے مطابق گذشتہ روز لکی مروت میں نامعلوم مسلح موٹرسائیکل سواروں کی فائرنگ سے موٹرسائیکل سوار پولیس کانسٹیبل اور ان کا ساتھی ہلاک ہوا ہے۔

The protests isn't against terrorism, how can it be when these are the exact people who are involved and part of TTP

These people and the TTP are both flip sides of the same coin

They spew the same poison into the minds of young pashtuns and turn them into piss poor citizens or outright terrorists

But then how will establishment justify 700 thousand plus strong men in a single organisation costing 3000 billion to a nation whose budget is 7000 billion and pay 3000 billion on debt servicing ?

State losses on both fronts.

1. FATA/Waziristan have jihadi madrassa problem where young men are given money and 72 virgin promise after life. All these terrorists dying have families who receive money. No one goes after their families. Imagine if their families were shamed by locals, that would make a difference.

2. The educated class believe in conspiracy theories of army making them in to terrorists. Or they are apologist about them like our ex-PM who is known Taliban Khan all over the world for justifying terrorist acts.

In both cases narrative is against state. Which is why TTP is still there. If its not TTP then its DAESh and so on. And on top of that there is KP govt who doesn't believe its their job to tackle terrorism.
