Electricity theft was very common in shri nagar , after revocation of 370 crackdown was done on thieves , now all citizens of shrinagar pay electricity bill regularly , during state govt rule nobody dared to touch them .

People of this area survived invasions by adopting to this character, if they had not been so crafty they would have vanished from the earth .
