After the condemnable statements of the lal masjid top cleric maulana abdul aziz came to pass, protests in lahore and islamabad happened against his statement and the taliban as people came to liberty chowk in lahore and lal masjid to express their discontent against the clerics statements and also to take back the under hostage mosque from these taliban sympathizers.

I myself attended the liberty chowk protest. At its peak at about 7 pm there were about 200 people there with banners and posters shouting slogans such as

Taliban hai zaliman
Kab awaz uthao gay, jab ghar say lash uthao gay
taliban ka jo sathi hai ghaddar hai ghaddar hai

and my personal favorite there

Jo yeh burqay mai mard hai, yahi dehshat gard hai. :rofl

along with these many slogans.

The most greatest thing was that there was also a cleric of a mosque there as well condemning the statement which was very heartening to see. Media men from samma and duniya came as well, took couple of interviews and gave it some coverage.

The thing is that it was extremely heartening to see that people are not taking it anymore and are fighting against it and are truly standing together to say that they are with pak army and pakistan and not with the taliban and its supporters. The protest will happen tomorrow as well.

i hope that private citizens take action into their own hands if he makes threats against protestors

he should be dragged out of that "masjid" and beaten and thrashed nicely...citizens should arrest and detain him until the police arrest him

hes a traitor and a terrorist....he doesnt deserve to be breathing

Where the hell is our govt, Why can't govt kicked him out the Lal masjid and bring new administration ?

Most protesting are 1 % liberal who are known pets of west main reason behind chaos in our country and as for Dumbo Mullah Army can take action but they will never because they are still paying really heavy price for first one and they are in no mood to repeat that blunder and main Guy Jibran Nasir is in biggest terrorist party MQM.

I don't care whether they're 'liberal' or '1%' or not and neither should you - they're right. We should protest against Mullahs that spread extremism, fueling terrorists.
And the west isn't the main reason for chaos. We gave them countless opportunities, they'd be stupid not to exploit them. Thousands of factors contributed, mainly Mullah-brainwashed extremist fools, Mullah-brainwashed sectarian fools, greedy arsehole politicians and misplaced, foolish decisions by the likes of ZAB and Zia. The west merely saw us with our pants down and took advantage of it.

Raheel Sharif is too smart to repeat mistakes, he'll take care of Maulana Burka but carefully and slowly - we need to help him out.

First you say they're all liberal western pets and now you're saying they're MQM terrorists. U turn much?
Oh and Jibran Nasir is not in MQM.

Well than you would have to define what is extremism and that tool will result in defeat of these so called protesters. Mullah has done enough damage to himself General Raheel will will let him speak.

.
Well than you would have to define what is extremism
Extremism is defined as 'the holding of extreme political or religious views; fanaticism.' In our context, we can define it as any form of political, religious or social fanaticism/devotion that leads to premeditated violence.

and that tool will result in defeat of these so called protesters.
Which tool? And those protesters are not 'so-called'. They're the very definition of protesters.

protester
noun
plural noun: protesters
  1. a person who publicly demonstrates opposition to something; a demonstrator.
Mullah has done enough damage to himself General Raheel will will let him speak.
General Raheel shouldn't let him speak because he has enough idiotic followers and ISIS supporters to cause a serious problem to our already fragile country. They need to be annihilated, but since that'll cause another series of problems, silencing them would be enough. Some action is definitely required, overt or covert.

Well going after him will create much bigger problem right now he can be contained just don't let weapons reach him if he tries his speaking his damaging him only so need to go after him and make another blunder which may give massive power to TTP.

Thats exactly what I meant when I said 'covert' was a possibility. Covert action can silence this guy without causing any blunder. Have ISI agents shoot him and blame it on a rival militant group or some rogue Jihadi by planting false evidence etc. With him gone, it'll be easy to let the dust settle for a few months, followed by a sudden Law Enforcement raid and replacement of all teachers within the masjid - preferably under tighter restrictions.

O really who ever kills him blame will come on Army and that would be disastrous even if he is taken out by some one else his family and followers will put blame on Armed Forces and it would be disastrous for us.

No, no it wouldn't. Even if his followers try to, if there is no evidence (there never is with covert operations) or If someone else 'takes responsibility' (can be arranged easily by ISI), they'll be doing more damage to themselves and losing their support base even further. And, like you have said, Abdul Aziz has been doing too much damage to himself - he wouldn't have enough supporters to take on the Army (not militarily of course, I mean using rallies and political power etc) after he's dead.

On the other hand, if he's left alive, he'll continue to spread lies and support for groups like ISIS, which is more troubling than people being upset about him being dead. He is their figurehead - with him gone, they're gone.

No Mr it would happen that way all the blame will come on Army and it would be disaster another massive campaign will start in Pakistan and far more bloody than previous one he doesn't need to be alive to do damage in fact a dead one will do more right now his talks is only damaging him.
