Quoting a senior member on Pakistan military consortium

Very interesting piece of news......

The indians as part of new proposed security CBM's are suggesting joint naval exercises between PN and IN, which would be broadened to PA and PAF eventually, our Foreign Office have sounded out the Armed Forces, and they are very dismissive, the Army is especially hostile, they believe this can only occur - when the J&K is resolved.

The indians are bringing up the Chinese example saying, even though they have issues, they still have good military to military contacts with the PLA.

I have personally asked him about the source of this news and he said that his source of news is "High ranking members of the FO, and members of the Armed Forces."

an exercise with the Indians, never in a couple of years in the future, cannot see it happening. Because we still have alot of differences and we are in a way hostile to eachother, even though the politicians are playing huggy wuggy.

issue is that there are lot of exercises going on.. a french one just going in konkan also the annual UK, then the US one.. .. Then comes Japanese naval exercise....already concluded one with Lanka ...then some multinational along korean coast........ with all these exercises navy nowadays looks like a body builder.
