Our defense always begins in our cities and towns and not at our borders. Nothing is changing......more security patrols (sitting ducks) in Toyota pickups, thus more canon fodder for terrorist IEDs. Somebody please wake up the neutrals to this reality. Stop meddling in politics and concentrate on your primary mission, no no not DHA plots, but something called security?

What about being having fortified Security Check Posts by FC on the existing Highways and populated areas within the insrugency hit districts ?

See after the certain steps, KPK & Former FATA are much more peaceful than before.. We should learn from that .... Including the engagement of local population along with Infrastructure Development...

FC was modernised during Musharraf era through US support. Raheel shareef’s operational plans had intensified use of FC especially in zarb e azab. It was in Bajwa tenure under the Ahsan Iqbal probably that FC was doubled in strength with north and south designations. 5 interior ministers have been changed since then.

FC had 9 x UH-1s which USA had asked MOI to retain but MOI sent them back and instead retained 3 x Cessna aircraft for VIP transport use.

Has MOI released a tender to get cameras and drones ?

Army has given FC it’s officers from major to Major Gens since FC officers lack the experience. Then Army gives training, artillery and tanks to FC.

What is MOI doing for upgrading FC ?
