Propaganda War Against Pakistan by BBC Urdu and VOA

BBC AND VOA are doing this from long long time matter fact we have channel who actually start showing their shows on their channels. apni khoti khud choron say rali hoi hai.
these nawaz and ghadari made all of our instituation tooth less and those who actually have tooth they killing innocent.

I hate facebook as much as you do & its been 3 months since i deactivated my account & deleted fb&messenger Apps but banning anything is not a solution to a problem in a Democratic society. They will use this as excuse to do more propaganda against the state internationally & people will picture Pakistan as Iran like oppressive society which we're not right now so... the best solution is to counter them with facts on their own platforms. That is the way to go forward...anything else will result in our defeat so don't fall in to this trap because that's all what they want... They provoke us | we ban them | Media becomes victim of "oppressive" society | They get attention | They win

Anti Pakistan rhetoric is in high demand by a dihati neighbour anyways.

I don't buy into this "Loog kya kahain gay" type argument, effort of countering with fact is futile because other side already know very well what they are doing, and you don't start barking back at dogs. So, It doesn't matter what others are whining and blabbering as long as Pakistanis public is staying away from filthy propaganda.

.
bbc is the mouthpiece of britain and they are no longer taken seriously here in britain, invertedly the voa is a mouthpiece for its country.

Its simple all english dailies dawn, express etc write against the state with opinion articles from known zealots based in america. There is NO english language channel that is as big as say RT, lying jazeera and the newly rising TRT. If you want to fight their propaganda then show the world Pakistani narrative. even the local language news is nothing more than phand stage show at best.

To fight this menace you need to get onboard the media bandwagon. bbc, voa are filling a void that exists due to laziness of the state. if you think bbc, and voa are going to stop then they are not!! They have alot riding on ptm and they will back them till the very end.

You are right Brother but at least we as Pakistanis must do our part i have lodged complains on BBC against BBC Urdu, Reported the Facebook profiles to someone i know in Mehkama e Zaraat (Department of Agriculture) (IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN), I have encouraged many pro Pakistanis to engage on the comments section of BBC Urdu

Can't blame just nakaam league and ghadari. Paving the way for ptm in elections is all on Imran Khan. Having their agents released is also on IK/PTI. Saying ptm has valid concerns is on the establishment.

Exactly, who cares if that is what they wanted? So what? The state's job is to ensure its sovereignty and peace. At the very least you don't give them the stature of an entity that the state should appease. At the worst, you're taking options off the table and limiting yourself in responding to propaganda and anti-state terrorism.

That's all true but the support is also from PTI. And crutches from the establishment.

bro listen, start doing citizen journalism instead in english. getting people to comment on websites is NOT taken seriously as actual content of the news report which will be around a lot longer. bbc has been caught making up nonsense after 9/11 and their credibility has been hit hard. just cast your mind back to asad umar interview.

Media and the way it's presented is more important than having nukes in the present time. Let me give you one example Russia Today, RT has ex bbc employees who left or got sacked because they refused to tow the narrative! RT America has people from msnbc, fox etc. These people expose their former employers and their hypocrisy because they know how they work.

PMRA which was PEMRA before has been initiated. Lets hope the media at home is brought under scrutiny for spreading fake news and anti state activities. mir shakil the bastard has already said outside the court, geo is a business and not a news channel. him and rest of the media will put their hands in s#it to get at the money and at least the new gov is not giving them much like before.

Bottom line is media and its presentation is very important and more importantly you fight false narrative with right narrative.

.
Well, why is any surprised with this? Pakistan's own media channels, newspapers, social media, etc are dishing out fake news every second on the behest of the Western neo-con Masters. It is called Hybrid war - it has been mentioned by COAS plenty of times. So it is no surprise that BBC aka BULLSHIT BROADCASTING SERVICE, and VoA aka VOICE OF ASSHOL.ES have joined the party.

The real question is what the F* is the Government doing? Why the agencies are sitting on their arse unable to do anything? Are they too afraid of their white masters?

.
Thank you, Gen Mush, for giving in to more Western demands than they even expected --- and opening up the media without thinking about national security.
time was up for the media to come out of the clutches of the information ministry. Mushy was at the height of his power when he opened up the media flood gates. there was no pressure.

what I would agree is that there was no thought about code of conduct and it was same media that was used by his enemies against him, same media outplayed lal musjid operation, showed TTP and TNSM in Sawat as heroes etc and made some morbid Pakistan hating "intellectuals" and opinion makers as a house hold name
Gen Musharaf like ALL his predecessors decided that he needs to be popular and loved by people of Pakistan and for that he tried to become a democratic leader. but that didnt work as it never worked for all prior dictating generals and they had to bow out and step down (bar Gen Zia, he was violently removed)
professional politicians do the exact opposite they become dictators

coming back to subject matter,. recall Hillary announced 450m allocation in Pakistani media to get American point of view popular in Pakistan and that view had been only critical of Pakistani security forces and Pakistan's stand on Afghanistan and India.

We believe it is the moral responsibility of every government to support civil activities that take a stand against the terrorism and extremism that plagues and threatens our region and collective security. Otherwise there could be long-standing negative consequences.

In a subsequent tweet, Ghani added: "We believe it is the moral responsibility of every government to support civil activities that take a stand against the terrorism and extremism that plagues and threatens our region and collective security. Otherwise there could be long-standing negative consequences."

Afghan president appeared to be referring to a sit-in of the Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM) in Loralai on Saturday during which PTM leader Arman Loni died.

A shutter-down strike in Quetta was observed on Monday following Loni's death, which the PTM alleged was a killing.

Later on Tuesday, during a protest outside the Islamabad Press Club called over Loni's death, rights activist Gulalai Ismail and 17 others associated with the PTM were detained by the capital police. Ismail was released Wednesday night.

PTM is a rights-based alliance that, besides calling for the de-mining of the former tribal areas and greater freedom of movement in the latter, has insisted on an end to the practices of extrajudicial killings, enforced disappearances and unlawful detentions, and for their practitioners to be held to account within a truth and reconciliation framework.
