Thought it would make sense to start a thread (possible sticky) to showcase the efforts being made Provincially or Private sector to improve hospital situation in Pakistan

If we can reach a level where each city has 4 mega hospitals launched every 2 years , we would be in fantastic shape going forward. Hopefully we can see more China/Pakistan cooperation on growing this sector

**There was some news on media that the hospital has attaiend functional status for none surgical capacity so I have listed the picture , the full completed status is expected later on

Hopefully the trend of Level 1-2 Hospitals will continue for Major Cities of Pakistan

• Level 1 : 200-500 Bed Hospitals
  
• Level 2 : 100 Beds Hospitals
  
• Level 3 : 20-50 Beds Hospitals
• Level 4 : Walk In Clinics (Small illness diagnosis) , no facility for hospitalization

I was hoping we can target 'completed' projects in thread. The rural Hospitals or smaller city projects certainly also need coverage

The infrastructure thread has some coverage of "under development" projects but we did not had a "Completed" project thread. Specially not for Hospitals

• But the way forward really is Level 1-2 Projects for Large Metro Cities in Pakistan Build it once but make it capable of handling good amount of load or have plan for it's expansion

Well obviously folks can also post here for Medical Hospiatal related project it's all good feels nice to see such work being done across country hardly anyone talks about these projects on national TV for completed , finished projects

Need more coverage on

• Saudi-Pakistan cooporation Hospital (If any...)
  
• China-Pakistan cooporation Hospital (I recall one such center was planned for Gawadar)
• Military specific Hospital serving comunities
  
• Presently lack coverage on other cities (Faisalabad, Multan, Bhawalpoor, Quetta, Hyderabad, Gawadar etc ....)

DHQ Hospitals, Sialkot are large hospitals in Punjab. Allama Iqbal Memorial Hospital (AIMH) has a bed strength of 400 beds whereas Government Sardar Begum Hospital has 132 beds, making it a total strength of 534 beds.

With a total capacity of 1,000 beds, the hospital is expected to cater to over 60,000 patients in its different departments including gynaecology and a liver transplant centre.

The indus Hospital Expansion project is quite ambitious project hopefully it completes fully 100%, as big as any large Hospital in USA

I think , Pakistan does needs to expand the level 1,2,3 hospitals
We are just starting at this issue

But some of the large projects completed recently are commendable or which are near completion

• Level 1 : 200-500 Bed Hospitals (Large METRO CITIES)
  
• Level 2 : 100 Beds Hospitals (Medium size cities)

• Level 3 : 20-50 Beds Hospitals (Smallers cities)
  
• Level 4 : Walk In Clinics (Small illness diagnosis) , no facility for hospitalization (Universally available cities /villages)

• The airlift , ambulance service has to be a new aviation branch

We are just starting to tackle the issue more can be done but some of the large hospital projects that have completed are 100% commendable and same for projects that are 95-99% complete
