Project 20380 corvettes will be equipped new AESA radar

Russian Navy signed a contract with the company "Fazotron-NIIR" to create a radar station for ships of class "corvette." Now experts "Fazotron-NIIR" are working on the development of radar. The company receives funding from the Defense Ministry. The first sample of the new ship's radar (SAR) will be presented in 2011, Interfax reported. General Designer "Fazotron-NIIR" did not disclose the number of the project, whose ships will receive new radar system, presumably this will be Project 20380 corvettes.
