  • Prince Khalid bin Salman discussed the importance of the military base and Egypt’s developing military systems
DUBAI: Saudi Arabia's Deputy Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman headed the Kingdom’s delegation in the opening ceremony of Egypt’s Berenice military base located south of Red Sea, Saudi local press reported on Thursday.

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi inaugurated the military base and was accompanied by Prince Khalid bin Salman, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohamed bin Zayed, Commander of the Royal Guard in Bahrain Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Prime Minister of Bulgaria Boyko Borissov, and a number of ministers and senior leaders of the armed forces.

Prince Khalid bin Salman discussed the importance of the military base and Egypt’s developing military systems, saying it is a major axis to confront threats in the Red Sea and secure global navigation.

. . .

No more negative meddling from tiny (in comparison to the Arab world) opportunistic foreign entities in internal Arab matters. This cancerous behaviour is only possible, not surprisingly, in war-torn Arab countries as can be seen. As long as the current brotherly and sisterly Arab axis is in place (brotherly Sudan being liberated recently) such attempts will be combatted succesfully.

What is needed is to cut the head of the snakes one by one. An ongoing process.

The Red Sea, being the most strategic waterway in the region, will continue to be safeguarded by KSA and Egypt.

As for internal politics, our people will decide that, we don’t need foreign meddling of any kind. They are all bad and none prioritize the well-being of our people or countries.

Relations with Greece, Cyprus etc. are growing steadily which is good.

Tiny Qatar will be dealt with eventually and once that occurs the “war” will be won easily. We can’t have such trojan horses within the Arab world.

Have no mistakes, land mass, population, economy, ressources, history, power, potential is all on the side of us Arabs and the divide will only increase in our favor by the day. A more aggressive policy is needed in our own hometurf though.

I wish Egypt, Turkey, KSA settle their differences and be friends
