Pressure (govt or falling TRP) getting to NDTV? Is it turning rightwards?

I didnt mean anti BJP voters watch them, I meant NDTV is targeting that audience block which is huge in number but the problem is they are limited to Hindi and English and not in vernacular languages. If they launch channel in local languages they will get larger audience.

There is no doubt in Hindi news channels NDTV got the best content (if you take away the bias or agenda). I think they will get more audience and will be more effective if they softly push the leftist agenda instead of aggressively pushing it with the likes of Barkha. When they show their pure hatred on and off screen that makes them lose more audience else they are still the best Hindi news channel out there.

English and hindi news channels account for around 60% of the news channel market. So saying that their share is low because they dont have vernacular channels is disengenous. Also TRP rating is given for specific language news channels as a group.

Even if we consider Hindi News Channels NDTV is at the bottom even below India TV

and why exactly you said all this?

is it so hard to understand the difference between target audience and conversion? I hope you read properly before replying anything else. If you are having hard time in understanding the difference a simple google search will help you.

Moreover the TRP measurement system in India is pure, pure bull$hit. If you happen to know the methodology you will understand how pathetic it is actually, heck even Opinion polls are much more accurate than this. If you dont know the system you can search over same BARC website they provide the methodology there and see for yourself how absurd it actually is.
