President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev There should be a Turkish Union

I think it'd be best to develope economic ties with these turkic countries, and nurture these ties, and hopefully we can receive permission to setup school and such. Provide their people with work (construction etc.) and have their kids attend schools where they learn Turkic/Turkish and their own national language would definitely be a good boost too. Remember that their neighbour is Russia, it's they're pretty damn rich on ressources and got lots of other stuff too.

And unfortunately we're also stuck with problems in the ME & EU. So all we can do/should do is connect with them, and nurture these ties. And help them grow bring their youth to Turkey to study at universities, and such.

Even though many people dislike Fetullah Gulen, during my time there (in their organisation, i know i just jumped out of the closet :D) i have seen many videos, personal meetings etc. from Turcik countries worldwide, and how they spoke and learned the same Turkish that we are speaking in Turkey. I can assure you that their schools send the same message as most Turkish in this community, also most Turks hold.
I know for a fact that Gulen schools are already booming in the Turkic countries (also non-turkic). I would sincerely hope that we could extend our influence as the strongest Turkic country and help them that is both education-wise, economically, infrastructurally (Turkish companies are already the first preferred as far as i know).

Turkey as a country will have a hard time nurturing the ties you are mentioneing Saithan, but NGO's and normal companies are extremely effective at doing the things you say.

I've been to sohbets and such myself during my student years (discussin risali nur etc.), and I also participated in some NGO union work as well (like student teachers helping grade school students by being a rolemodel etc.), they have my respect for the work they put in, but I also know people (first hand) who've gotten into economic dilemma because of their commitment to the community as well.

No criticism intented, but my opinion on the community is that they won't lead you down the wrong path, however that doesn't mean one should go into business with them either.

But you are right about that it should be "movements" like Gülen/Nurcu who spread the influence, but also turkish Construction companies who're among the best in the world (like how China has Turkish construction companies building shopping malls for them). I also think that the Education and sports ministry should be involved in this. Such as Imam-hatip schools being opened and maintained in those countries. I remember reading an article about this s few months ago, where African Union was interested in having more imam-hatip schools opened.

23.April and some of the other youth initiatives should be a focal point, Yes, they may be nationalistic and some may not like it, but those are activities meant to create a bond among the youth. Apart from costing students 2-4 days every year. If the children are the future leaders, then isn't it worth investing in them whenever we can ?

Our nation has builded more Empires before.. We have had more than 16 great Turk Empires in history, so nothing is impossible.

The Central Asian States are withing Russia Sphere of Influence, and Xinjiang is out of Turkey reach the only country that it would even happen with is Azerbaijan, but they will eventually go back to russia because russia holds the key to getting back the land armenia took.

Those difficulties will be overcome by us. All those influences etc are nothing when we unite as one.. And believe me it will happen.

ok so how do you plan on getting Kazakhstan who is already in a pact with Russia to join the Eurasian Union and Xinjiang from china ? highly unlikely this kind of difficulties are a new level.

So what if they're in pact with Russia it's even better because we are in pact with US, we can turn these to oppurtunities we can still separately unite under different kind of a pact for now.. and with time make it stronger and stronger to evantually take it all over from US and Russians.. same with the Xinjiang issue.

Turkey is not in a Pact to Join the USA economically, the Eurasian Union is Kazakhstan is with Russia. it won't happen you tried to get influence in central asia but failed, same with Xinjiang. highly unlikely.

.
listen you are saying influence , influences change within time they are within russia influence because of soivet times but as times pass stronger relations it will become easier we are not saying a turkic union tomorow lol at least 10 years i would say
