Its not even that, its about the connect, relatability. A British person, a Russian, a German, an Italian they are really not going to feel connected to people being killed in Bangladesh but in another culturally similar country they will.

Atleast we care about our own, you lot hate everyone and your neighbors. I had my Bangla friend telling me the other day how much he hates Indians and how stupid they are. Besides the point anyway, its nothing to do with race, do you think any news agency in the "white world" including US and Russia is catering to YOU, I wouldnt expect a Bangladeshi news station to show much interest in anything that isnt regional either. I wont pray for anyone but I have a big disconnect from people thousands of miles away who look nothing like me, its tribal not racial, the same way Indians dislike Pakistanis, its the old human story of not being part of the other tribe, we are all in tribes pretending to be countries and we have a distrust of each other, its human nature.
