PPP was willing to meet Nawaz for presidency, says Kaira

LAHORE: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Qamar Zaman Kaira stated on Sunday that PPP was ready to go to jail in order to meet former Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif for the upcoming presidential election.

However, the PPP leader did not disclose why their plan was cancelled.

PPP’s Senior leader Khursheed Shah and their presidential candidate Aitzaz Ahsan were also present during the conference in Lahore.

He further said that his party was not in alliance with the grand opposition. They were only together against rigging in general elections 2018, he added.

Moreover, Kaira said that his party’s wish was to nominate a joint candidate for the president-ship with the grand opposition, adding that now they expect Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) chief Fazlur Rehman not contest for the president’s post.

The presidential election is expected to be held on September 4.

Its now in his nature to beg anywhere anytime for anything whether its a diesel tender or presidential seat, but none the less no one should forget all the defeated faces of black politics includes Fazal ur Rehman, Achakzai, many many more.

Even Shaitaan will ask for relaxation when it comes to Fuzla-e-Shaitaan. In fact diesel and shaitaan has no competition whatsoever. People like him and achakzai never thought of interest of Pakistan they always thought of their own interest , tenders, contracts etc. Time to tata bye bye such faces and time for young generation to step forward specially the females. But unfortunately our politics and media is all about blaming or getting in personal lives of a person that is why females are afraid to get into politics.

Regardless...they will not get PMLn's support..

Everyone played their cards, one thing about the Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarian is that they always stood behind their decision no matter how cheap or good it is, how Shahbaz Sharif played his card? is one thing to look for deeply.

Ex CM Punjab knew PPPP will not vote for Noonies, and before even Maulana decides to vote for Aitzaz Ahsan the nominee from PPPP for Presidential seat, Noonies nominated Maulana as their overall nominee for presidential seat now the thing here to look is if noonies would've nominated their own party member maulana could've switched between pppp and noonies but since noonies nominated maulana himself, perhaps here maulana has no chance to switch.


Another thing to understand is that maulana should realize he is being played very easily. He is from no where a deserving candidate even in the eyes of noonies but just to oppose PPPP decision they choose you so saying that PPPP is having a problem with me is not right at all you fool.


Eventually Arif Alvi has by far a clear chance to win and hopefully he do so.
