Global Village Space |
Pakistan Peoples Party is threatening action on streets if missing aides of the ex-president, Asif Ali Zardari, are not found immediately. PPP leaders are blaming Interior Minister and state agencies for the disappearances.
PPP Baluchistan party has threatened to close down roads in the province if the missing aides are not found in the next 24 hours.
PPP sources are privately telling media that Asif Ali Zardari is in panic mode on these disappearances. Missing persons were close to his business dealings and records, in the same way, Dr. Asim was supposed to be. These disappearances have happened at a time when old issues confronting Mr. Zardari were apparently being resolved one by one.

PPP Baluchistan party has threatened to close down roads in the province if the missing aides are not found in the next 24 hours. Speaking at a press conference, the President of Pakistan Peoples Party in Balochistan, Mir Madad Ali Jattak, adopted an unusually strong tone when he threatened to block highways that link the province with the rest of the country, if three people, Nawab Leghari, Mir Ghulam Qadir Marri, and Ashfaq Leghari, were not produced in court within 24 hours. He held Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan responsible for it.
Mr. Ghulam Qadir Marri’s vehicle was found abandoned near the Jamshoro thermal power house on Friday evening.
These disappearances have occurred after weeks of wild speculations, that how the “muk mukka” politics of Pakistan has again resulted in releasing confidants of ex-President Zardari from corruption cases, including, Dr. Asim Hussain and Dr. Sharjeel Memon. Earlier the controversial model Ayyan Ali also left the country, issuing a mischievous selfie with victory signs from her plane.
During the same time period, ex-religious affairs minister, Hamid Saeed Kazmi, was found innocent in the famous Haj Scandal in which initial complainant about him was the Saudi government. Ex-Sindh minister, Sharjeel Memon, who had disappeared from the country, after accusations of Rs. 5 billion of corruption surfaced against him, and was in self-exile for the past two years has also landed back in Karachi. He was temporarily arrested, but after bail, he has been roaming interior Sindh like a hero.
