I have personally seen the mess and devastation caused by these so-called student unions. Every ghunda and badmash and wannabe tough guy started calling himself leader and soon they were backed by political and ethnic parties. The situation became so bad that it administration had to call army to take back control of universities

No matter how appealing and alluring the idea of the student union, it is not for Pakistan. Hell, they are banned and look at how much ruckus they still cause in education institutions. Been there done that and end result was not good. Lets not open that pandora box again.

We do not have political unions in schools and colleges in Australia. This political poison is available for Pakistanis only - and through the hands of such lunatic, ready-made out of baby-cart politicians.

Let's also have a look at Japan and Germany or Norway for the sake of comparison and find if their colleges and students are dragged into politics as well? If most advanced countries do not have politics at schools, is that not sufficient evidence that this is a flawed model and such hogwash should be banned from schools in Pakistan?

All the classic signs of psyop to create unrest. Hongkong model comes to mind. But they will fail inshAllah.

It will only benefit private Universities. But this act will help to ruined poor segment of society, who can not afford private universities education.
I totally favor complete ban on student union. Rest all these protest is dramabazi .... Interior Sindh will produce more jahil , if ban remove.

we should banned all political parties (student unions) in all our education centers (colleges/universities/ and some school) these unions are mess student come there for education, not for political recruitment
