I was going through YouTube and the video popped up on my timeline. I started the video and it became so interesting that I stuck watching it to the end.

Here are few observations I made on the video. First of all watching this guy speak I can tell he is not well educated. Then watching him play and his background I can tell he has been playing at some shutter down ally shop.

Now what this video teaches us. How much talent in Pakistan has been wasted. To be such good at video game is like you have a really good brain and this boy receiving no education placed his bright brain to no use. Please watch the video it is a good story.

Bro it pisses me off so bad that Pakistanis despite having access to Internet never use it constructively.
Look at all the videos where all Pakistanis praise India for Indian films, actors etc and not its universities of other technological advance institution.
Such a shame that we only use our internet for songs and drama and other things. But don't even try to understand and learn new fields etc and specially everything about advancement and technology is avalible online if you want to know but no one is interested.
For example people in agriculture used same old archaic methods despite people giving tutorials and thousands of papers Avalible on how to improve and grow your crops through modern methods etc.
People are more interested in opening a property dealer shop and sitting in it all day. Where as there are so many new and diverse fields to explore.
Not everything is done by government somethings we have to do our self.
Look at this guy despite hardship he went there.

Bro look at this kid. It is seriously a heart warming story. Like politicians wasted so much money on their health travel and what this kid had to struggle through to bring a name for Pakistan. No one helped him he did it all being an unknown.

You see when you have will you would find a way and Allah would help you too .
But our people lack will, I am taking generally.
They want easy way. Half the people don't try things for the fear that they don't know how to or the experience is forign and new.

Yes it is an inspiring story of this kid. He showed great struggle and will to achieve what liked most without much resources and almost no domestic help. Stupid Pakistani companies didn't even sponcered him. It would have been a free advertisement for them considering the kind of budgets they have. All pumping into stupid news channels.

The boy should be sponcered for LA Evo championship to USA if he is so good he deserves it.

i agree with you, there is a very famous Japanese saying

If everyone can do it, then i should also be able to do it.
If no one else can do it, then i must be able to do it

Pakistanis way of thinking

If everyone can do it, then let them do it nah
If no one else can do it, then how can i do it yaar?

I used to play small tournaments at conventions (almost won a few too) and attended evo once here in the states.

It is great fun and you can feel and watch all the excitement from everyone, it’s like a boxing match.

I don’t have time to invest in this hobby with family/job obligations, but excellent that Arsalan Ash has found something to put Pakistan’s name and face out there.

We should applaud all our champs.

Good to see a boy from Multan Chungi, Lahore, representing Pakistan internationally. He belongs to a poor family and started playing video games in a local video games shop. After winning $2.5M in competition, he now owns a gaming zone in waris colony, and is sponsoring local players in international e-gaming competitions. Recently, he sponsored one in China.

That's pretty exciting. I'll have to check it out in the future.
