Digital India claimed once by Indian PM, Modi. This is what we
actually see on ground. Media houses makes us blind what actually India is.
This is the recent report on NDTV. Six lac applicants applied for a "Sweeper" job.
A complete report can be viewed at,

Is there a problem somewhere ?

I see no issue in having educated cleaners , I also see young men who have no qualms in doing physical work.

Sadly if only people could understand why such fully graduate and post graduates apply for such a blue collared job.

This is the pay scale

The lower band is for minimum Class 5 passout and mostly upper band is what such high qualification applicants are looking to get Rs 20000 pm.

Even in Lucknow, a class 10th passout gets RS 14000pm.

So an post graduate unless they get a good white collared job prefers a govt blue collared one for the job security and adequate compensation

BTW no work is big or small..so i believe

haha, awesome one !! if you really mean it lol

The dignity of hard work to earn an honest living transcends any petty considerations. I wish these men the best of luck!

aren't people doing such kind of jobs in pakistan? are they illiterate or selected without any basis or just random pickings from the street ?
