Possibility of food supplies Pressure on Agriculture based Economis if Epidemic Run for long Periods

One thing is worrying me & may be some others too which is countries like us economy based on agricultural products will be played by our elite class when they smuggle or export our food to those rich countries which has wealth but not food till now every country has well food storage but after that if period of Epidemic run long then this is most probability that food shortage take place in many developed countries & than they import by force or via smuggling. In Pakistan we say " jis de ghar de dany hovan o bhuka ni marda". Till now we survive because majority of our population has enough storage in home for basic items such as wheat and rice etc due to our agricultural base even we hit by same elite when thy stocked the flour and sugar and other essentials items. But imagine if these gready mind people export this or smuggled it what happens. Remember we are too much in loans by many countries....

No sir you taken my point of view in wrong side i was asking about our own share which we utilise not surplus one which we export here in Pakistan many brokers take maximum benefit from artificial shortages. So my concerns was about our elite class. If member like @BHarwana who is also have good knowledge of Agriculture in Pakistani Punjab Region will told us now days wheat is short even cropping season no one wants to sell it. Many Farmers or Agriculturest saying they have not enough avrage per acre so it is not sufficient for themselves how the sale it. Or maybe they are waiting for high rates /value.

Pakistan has surplus of most staple crops for the country. Like wheat rice sugar. Those food items will not be the issue if we manage and deploy good administration over it.
There will be some issue with sideline items but that will not be because we don't have them the issue will come because of non coordination in planting. Some item will be planted more others will be planted less which will create artificial shortage. To over come this agriculture data bases needs to be maintained and guidence should be given to farmers over what to cultivate.

On whole around the world there will be shortage of food and this will push price up domestically at many places but if strict measures are kept on smuggling then inflation can be kept low.
