Surging population growth rates eventually peak then decline/stabilise. It's still good to raise awareness and try to limit growth rate by cutting off benefits for those who have more than two children.

Couples need to be sensible PERIOD,, too many folks are having 9-10 kids, if they can give them a good well nourished upbringing then so be it, but we all know this is rarely the case.Kudos

It's a good article and he's absolutely right about one thing that is space at this rate we won't be left with much space our green areas will decline because as he said cities and villages will take over that land unemployment will continue to skyrocket we won't enough water food to keep feeding them this is a really dangerous thing and we need to take this seriously now.

I think we have more than enough space for our immediate lifetimes yet how can we provide power, education and health diet , jobs (Robotic/AI/more advance automation revolution coming up) etc potential parents really need to focus on investing heavily in small sized families.Kudos bhai

Well let me say it this way. In the 90's I used to visit Pakistan often and in Lahore my grandfather bought property pre partition I think or around that time. Its Rehman Pura-Ichra old part of Lahore. I was there in 98 last and things were mellow and it was relatively relaxed. i went in 2015 after a very long time and well It was like a population bomb had gone off. everything had become tight and dare i say it resembled 3rd world Africa!

2nd case is Rawalpindi my Phuppi lives there and many other relatives but my phuppy lives very close to the bridge on nala lai. again was there last in 98 and in 2015 i went there it was absolutely unrecognisable. Filthy absolutely filthy same for lahore that area used to be cleaner because there was less population. My cousin who lives with her parents her son has had TB twice!!! because of the filth. TB to me is an extinct disease but not in Pakistan.

Visited Gujrat my mums family again heaving, unrecognisable and absolutely filthy.

Visited Chakwal and Jhelum my dad's family are from their again same thing.

In Pakistan there were two bombs tested. Atomic and population. Most of these people are young and in their youth they are going to be problems especially with exposure via the internet of the world beyond borders of Pakistan. When they will see other nation doing better they WILL question what has happened to their country. Something these politicians with one foot in the grave cannot understand who exist in the analogue age. Expect more problems not less!!!
