It is still an achievement in UAE, where natives are around a million or something. I know natives, who watch Turkish stuff online, and enjoy their baklava with a Turkish coffee. They are not aware of the dangers, their government exposes them to.

Ertugrul has jump-started some major changes in Pakistani society. We have thirsted long for some media which portray our Islamic roots, but had to live on 70s, 80s poorly preserved and outdated content.

Need I remind you that Mughal e Azam, an Indian movie, was the most famous movie for a long time. Nostalgia for Islamic history is strong in Pakistan, much stronger than other places.

I concur. Ertugrul is something like Pakistani ideology and mindset in Turkish form. This is how we see it.

I never see these modern Pakistani daramas which have no concept.
Only third class love stories to attract only female viewers.stories about divorces, eloping girls and
extramarital affairs only.
Thene here come Ertugrul which touch every corner.it have politics action conspiracy love and religion touch.it shows Muslims fought against evil Christians and won wars.it show some glorious Muslim past.it have some good lessons also.
So if it have huge viewership in Pakistan then why surprise.people need change.
I will recommend more daramas like this instead of watching bharti filth.
