US Survey report based on presumptions: Kaira
Well as in the news above govt. have rejected the survey by saying that elections of 2008 was an indication that Zardari was/is most popular leader in Pakistan.
I want to test it in this forum to test how true Kaira is!
ISLAMABAD, July 29 (APP): Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira has said that the US Survey report cannot measure the popularity of any political leader as it is based only on presumptions. In his comments on the US Survey report, the minister said that the popularity of a political leader could only be judged through elections. He said that Asif Ali Zardari was an elected President of Pakistan and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) was the largest party in the Parliament.
Kaira said that the survey had no significance for the people of Pakistan as they know that such surveys are conducted with some ulterior motives. These surveys have no relations with ground realities.
The people also know that such surveys are not in the interest of the country and are aimed at creating uncertainty. He said the survey was an attempt to discourage the nation, which is already hit by terrorism and floods.
