Man read history before making baseless comments.

Afghani Taliban are differrent from terrorist TTP. They share nothing but name. Infact TTP is working with Afghan government.

Taliban get into power in 1996 by uniting all the fighting forces engaged in Afghan Civil war. So they brought peace in Afghanistan. They end the opium production and law and order situation was also normalized during the Taliban regime.

Opposite to contarry believe Mullah Umar was elected leader of Afghanistan elected by Afghan tribe elders due to his honesty and leadership qualitites. He himself was a teacher and qazi. People respected him alot as Qazi due to swift and thoughtful justice and elder of his area selected him as leader after which he worked on uniting all factions in Afghanistan. If you look at his cabinet then it had members from all provinces and ethinicites of Afghanistan except for noether alliance.

The suspect of 9/11 was Al-Qaeda and it had nothing to do with Taliban other than the fact that Al-Qaeda leader was in Afghanistan.

So when US attacked Afghanistan Taloban was legitimate government and by all international standard they were fighting a just war against foreign occupants.

I am not sure how pure and righteous the current Afghani leadership is but the Taliban under leadership of Mullah Omer were exemplary people.

Within a timefram of just 5 years they eliminated 98% of the drug production from Afghanistan and in decades Afghanistan never saw such a peaceful law order situation.
