So ISIS gets much of their oil by selling to civilian tanker drivers at a discount who in turn find buyers locally or even across borders.

An ethical dilema.

If intl prices are 60-80$$ a barrel and they sell it for 40$-50$ a barrel than i dont know most will be willing to buy it just like people buy diamonds from mafias in Africa

Not that i encourage this behaviour but in the real world most bussiness men want max profit and many are willing to compromise for it

Well it seems some members here think bombing them is perfectly legit while others feel it is horrific.

.
But i think if those people want a better future for their kids they might have to compromise a little on heavy profits for a few years

Its like killing drug peddlers and addicts for drug wars of latin america but they too need to compromise

the only way to deal with ISIS and the syrian rebels is to kill them mercilessly, too bad if civvies get in the way.

The US government has up until recently been trying to avoid frying the drivers. The Russians have no qualms about frying them and have gone full force doing it. They have even pointed the finger at the US for being soft on them.

Russian warplanes disrupt ISIS oil sales channels; destroy 500 terrorist oil trucks in Syria — RT News

Just an ethical question.

Its a tough question cuz most of the buyers are just greedy bussinessmen(in many cases kurds who hate isis)

Greedy...well possibly..or it just has to do with making a simple living. For instance NATO hired all those trucks to haul gas to Afghanistan. Were the drivers greedy....

it's a two sided coin on the ethnics

these oil tank drivers know who and what ISIS stands for.

their revenue goes into funding killing innocents and enslaving woman.

i would question the ethnics of these drivers buying their oil from ISIS in the first place.

I vote for option 4: Send in a UN peace keeping force, defeat ISIS on the ground and take over the oil facilities. That will strangle ISIS financially and people will leave them in droves. Then send spec ops after their leadership, capture them and torture them for all the info they got and then execute them very publicly to deter future terrorists. These fanatics love force and that's what it will take to put a stop to them.

What do you mean? All that will happen is that they will go back to paying the price they normally did before ISIS showed up, no ethical dilemma there I am afraid.
