Poll. Syria army future fighter jet for fighting Islamists?

I suppose some options are likely. Since they already operate MiG-29A bought in the 1980s, the could import either MiG-29M which is the model Egypt recently bought, or if they want a lower cost plane that's easier to maintain they can go for JF-17 which is powered by RD-33 series which is what powers MiG-29 and they are already familiar with this engine. I would say JF-17 is a better option because Syria isn't very big and they don't need a plane with too much range, also JF-17 is easy and low cost to service for a small country like Syria. Your thoughts?

JF17, it is low cost, has better operational readiness and costs so it can easily cover Syria as Pakistan is 4.76 times of Syria in terms of total area.

JF-17 would be a good option, but Russia won't allow it, even if it has to sell for the same price..JF-17 block III has much more chance with Iraq, Egypt, KSA, Morocco, Algeria, Bahrain, Tunisia, Libya, Sudan, Mauritania, to name a few Arab countries and even the UAE..
