Om Puri lent his support to Pakistani artists saying that they come to India on Visa, not illegally.
A police complaint was lodged against actor Om Puri for allegedly insulting Army jawans with his remark during a TV debate. The complaint was filed at the Andheri police station in Mumbai.
65-year-old Puri attended a debate on a national news channel during which he firmly backed the artistes from the other side of the border and said that he would continue to work with them.

Was there any genuine intention to insult someone? All that is apparent is Om Puri being pressured into to say something he felt would be a lie. This trend of forcing others to agree with what we wish is amazingly disgusting.

Don't know what sort of satisfaction indians get by showing their hate where none is required.

You are against Om Puri because you think he is enjoying a better life than a normal common citizen and then you try to thrash my argument based on my faith and you think as I am a Muslim so somehow my faith makes my arguments null and void. Well what can I say ..................... at least being a Muslim I tried standing with a Hindu who is right and is being hated by other Hindus just because he is not willing to tow their line of propaganda and hate.

Hindus and all live the lives of second class or subhumans in Pakistan. Under constant threat of kidnapping of young women and forced conversions. It took almost 70 years for them to just get the right to marry under Pakistani law.

It takes close to 70 years for Pakistani Muslims to give Hindus the basic human right of marriage.

What else would Hindus of Pakistan say? They would be killed if they said anything else.
