This rifle is doing very well, serial production is expected and then we will be able to deploy snipers at a unit level. It will replace Steyr SSG.

Units started getting range masters back in 2008.

Steyr was replaced by the SSG.. and handed over to LCBs/Army and other services.

Infact initially all SSG gear was given to LCB..

I know the exact quantity of RMs we have, both 308 and 50. They are deployed in very decent numbers but by no means enough to raise snipers at every unit level and for paramil.

The philosophy behind developing Azb DMR and LSR-308 is to provide the number of precision rifles we actually need. I have a gist about the number they are looking for, I can't say it here for obvious reasons. It is in high thousands.

We already have snipers at unit level.

Subhan'Allah!!! Even Pak kids are now proficient snipers...

And, some folks think they can get into Pak with movie dialogues/monologues etc....

Every Pak hearth has its very own Vasily Zaytsev (Stalingrad, WW2)....

DMR is in service, while ASR was recently developed/upgraded.
