Pak Navy to be provided all possible support to materialize development plans

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Defense Production, Rana Tanveer Hussain visited Naval Headquarters here on Tuesday where he was received by Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Mohammad Asif Sandila. Later, the dignitary was introduced to Principle Staff Officers at Naval Headquarters. The Minister for Defence Production during his stay at Naval Headquarters was given an extensive brief on prevalent Maritime security environment, Pakistan Maritime compulsions, ongoing Defence Projects and Pakistan Navy’s operational preparedness. The dignitary was apprised on Pakistan Navy’s efforts to maintain stability and peace in the region, despite its resources constraints.
The Minister appreciated collaborated efforts of Pakistan Navy and Karachi Shipyard for initiating the construction of indigenously built State-of-the-Art Destroyer F-22P PNS ASLAT.
Later, the dignitary called on Chief of the Naval Staff in his office and acknowledged the future indigenous developmental plans of Pakistan Navy to strengthen the defense of motherland.
He ensured that all necessary resources will be provided for timely completion of the projects to enhance the professional capabilities of Pakistan Navy.
