LAHORE: The dissident of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) has slammed the central leaders for levelling baseless allegations against the national institutions and demanded Nawaz Sharif to quit party leadership, ARY News reported on Tuesday.

The PML-N dissidents conducted a press conference in Lahore today and censured the narrative of the top leadership to target the national institutions.

While talking to journalists, the estranged PML-N Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) in Punjab Jalilur Rehman Sharaqpuri questioned Maryam Nawaz about the announcements for resigning from the assemblies.

He said that the nation has not supported the narrative of PML-N and the central leadership is causing damage to the country’s image and its nationals. If they are willing to tender resignations, then they should do it to prove themselves, he said. Sharaqpuri criticised that they were talking about tendering resignations and participation in Senate elections at once.
He said that it seems that Maryam Nawaz and Maulana Fazlur Rehman are now tired of their anti-government campaign. Sharaqpuri asked Nawaz Sharif to face cases in the courts to prove his claims true before the nation.

Sharaqpuri said that Imran Khan and Usman Buzdar have the majority of votes and if they failed to control inflation, they would be held accountable in the next election. He asked PML-N leadership to give respect to the power of the vote. He added that the five lawmakers are ready to tender resignations and Maryam Nawaz and other lawmakers should materialise the promise to submit their resignations as well.

Another dissident, Ashraf Ansari said that he has tried the best to fulfil his responsibility as a public representative in the assembly. Ansari said that the lawmakers had held meetings with Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and raised the issues of their respective constituencies which were resolved by him.

He said that the party leadership had issued show-cause notices to the lawmakers for meeting with the chief minister. Ansari said that PML-N leaders showed dual-standard as the party leadership is stopping them to hold meetings, on the other hand, it is holding talks with the government by calling it their constitutional right.

He said that they are public representatives and they will hold more meetings with Punjab CM. A specific lobby has seized the political party. Ashraf Ansari said that Nawaz Sharif is ineligible for leading the political party and he should leave the party leadership for good politicians.

He claimed that many MPAs and NA lawmakers are now supporting their stance.

Nishat Daha said that Muslim League is no more a symbol of the federation but just a faction ruled by Nawaz Sharif. He expressed hopes that inflation would end in the country during the tenure of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Establishment will never allow PTI get too strong. There is a rumor that establishment is going to create a new political party and it will be run by ex-military man.....wait for the news in few months. Left overs from PMLN, PPP and other parties will join this new political party to counter PTI.

i dont think it should be a case of not letting PTI becoming too strong. it should be a case of there being a strong, honest opposition party to always keep the government in check.

PTI have some 2 more years left and if they are able to deliver even quarter of what they promise and are able to win next election than a new party run by any ex military personnel or anyone can never be as powerful as khan will be. People like him and if he's able get hold of economy than next term people will probably take him as a savior so i doubt. But all depends upon IF he's able to deliver.

We need to pay attention to small events to see how the storm is going to hit us or understand what games are being played behind the curtain.
Let me ask you one thing.... Establishment is working on few ex-Cricketers to come in politics. This is not a short term plan, it's rather long term plan. Who do you think they are? Who wanted Mishah to be head coach without any proper experience?

As far as IK/PTI performance is concerned, I think IK has done exceptionally well in worst economic conditions. Status quo thought he will quit after few months but he fought hard and I think IK has accomplished more in 2 years than PMLN/PPP in 10 years.
Once CPEC is matured, and our IT and Tourism industry is up and running, we will be in good shape. Also, e-government and privatization is a slow process but IK is on the right track. Pakistan Steel Mills (PSM), Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), PTV and Pakistan Railways, Karachi Circular Railway, Imran Khan's government should privatize these with in next two years to reduce government overhead.

Another few things I have been mentioning on this vary forum is about e-government, AI and paperless government to reduce cost, reduce government employees, less employees will have less pension, this will reduce 60% of government overhead.

.
It will be good for Pak to have a patriotic party in opposition instead of the
crooks we have at the moment.

I think IK will win the next election easily, one thing what I think will help him alot
is the health card that he plans for everyone in Punjab. If you look back at PTI
performance in KPK from 2013 -18, the people gave PTI even more votes in 2018.

Honest opposition? 🤣🤣🤣

Pmln delivered everything it promised. Cheap electricity on imported fuel, cheap import on subsidized dollar, low inflation on cheap dollar, plenty of economic growth and jobs. Yet they lost elections despite fulfilling most of their promises 😭

What's delivery for a Pmln donkey?

Establishment plan to create a new political party is not new.....

Wasn't Establishment supporting Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) and wanted GDA and All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) to merge and create a new party to go against corrupt mafia?
Upon Nawaz Sharif's re-election in 2013, he initiated high treason charges against Musharraf for implementing emergency rule and suspending the constitution in 2007.
For some strange reason establishment plan didn't work out so Establishment brought Mustafa Kamal to counter MQM and at the end PTI got the seats which were promised to Mustafa Kamal/PSP.
Establishment wanted GDA to counter PPP but it doesn't mean that Establishment wanted to eliminate PPP. Establishment doesn't want to create a political vacuum and that's the main reason they didn't push to banned MQM after Altaf Hussain anti-Pakistan statement and involvement with RAW. They knew that if they banned MQM, PPP will have political advantage and will get more seats.

Spot on I personally think the National health card for Punjab will alone win him next elections, its definitely one of the biggest reforms since Pakistan was created, along with two major dams being built which no other government has payed any attention.

It doesn't work that way. Citizens think they vote for a certain party if they get something in return. This is trade not the reason why citizens should vote. Everything in PAKISTAN is corrupted, even the reason why people are voting on a plate of Biryani and Nihari

FOR ONCE the foundations of t0*1 party have been cut. the land grabbers like khakkahr harami mansha baroodi harami to name a few. now that the root of this weed has been poisoned you will see this collage of criminals rotting from root to stem and flower.
