ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has decided in principle to replace governors of three provinces soon after the presidential elections.
According to sources the governors of Punjab, Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be replaced after the presidential elections.
It has already been decided that Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar will be Punjab governor has.
PML-N’s Ghaus Ali Shah is being seriously considered for the position of Sindh governor and his name is likely to be finalised within the next few days.
Sardar Mehtab Khan Abbasi has emerged as a strong candidate for the position of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governor.
The sources said PML-N Secretary General Iqbal Zafar Jhagra will be appointed adviser to the prime minister.
