PM Nawaz most popular leader in Pakistan: IRI survey

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - International Republican Institute (IRI) on Saturday stated that Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif is the most popular in Pakistan politics.

According to a survey report, about 63 percent people of the country expressed likeness towards the premier, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan stood on second slot with 39 percent result while Bilawal Bhutto gained appreciation from 32 percent people.

The survey further revealed that 85 percent citizens disliked Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) founder, followed by Asif Ali Zardari with 80 percentage. However, Tahir-ul-Qadri got 79 percent dislike votes.

With respect to governance at provincial level, Punjab stood on first position with 79 percent rating, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) received 72 percent votes whereas Sindh and Balochistan clinched 54 and 48 percent votes apiece.

Meanwhile, 64 percent people expressed unawareness towards Panama Leaks case whereas 38 percent people expressed partial interest in the issue.

26 percent supported a complete investigation into Panama Papers case.

What the hell ... the number speaks its not correct ... even in his best days he cant secure that much of support ... PM has very little support in KPK ... whereas no support in sindh ... and no support from public of Balochistan ... may be some electables supports him ... this ratio could be correct only for punjab ...

Even though the numbers don't add up it seems to me ... that the general awareness in the mass public regarding mass corruption and panama papers is still not that high if the figures they are quoting are to be believed otherwise in which country would people in their right mind support such corrupt people to lead them....

Dr Shahid Masood already said that the govt will be sending out forged surveys to improve its image and he is right yet again.

yeah thats because the opposition is shit in the parliament and the general public are being taken for a ride with the,, there is so many false accusations, so much mud slinging and lying that no body knows the truth anymore, people are so sick and tired of the panama stuff that they just don't care about it.

The reality is whoever is in power today will do the same as the opposition tomorrow they will never learn and its been on going for a long time our politicians need to understand they are not where they are to harvest their own interests but the interests of all the Pakistanis.. as far as parliament is concerned a sitting prime minister if he can go into parliament and lie openly like that then what are we to believe.. accusations and mud slinging is being done by the government and the opposition - the government being in its 3rd term should have become a lot mature but still lack understanding nor do any of their statements match one says one thing another says another... their needs to be accountability there needs to be transparency and whoever is guilty should be punished its as simple as that never in any other part of the world will you see ministers leaving their posts to come to a hearing which has nothing to do with them to talk gutter level garbage outside the supreme court of Pakistan...

oh man name me one member of parliament that hasn't lied in parliament. you know and i know every single one of them does it.
opposition has created a state of mud slinging where they bad projects are being called bad and the good ones are being called bad aswell. no one knows whats good for the country anymore because the opposition criticises on everything rather then just the bad things.
