It is to bring them on board into your tax structure. After that you keep them monitored for tax evasion in future.

Even India should have voluntary tax scheme to entice more people into our Tax structure. At present only 4% Indians pay any income tax. Also our tax structure needs overhaul in order to make it fair for all economic classes. Right now top 1% pay 80% of the total tax.

well it is a nice scheme but ppl shud b taxed atleast 5% and bring them in tax net soo later they will be taxed normally

In Norway they would asked to pay 100% more and most of things they owned like house cars etc would be taken by government

there is a easy way to tax evaders. check the bank accounts.. there are thirty lac pakistanis whose bank accounts dont match with their income status.

amnesty scheme is just a political stunt to pacify supporters to fund pmln campaign next election. it wont help raise taxes.
