So you admit you cant tolerate peace nor are interested in peace...coz saying so without showing an effort kind of speaks opposite!
Quite honestly, peace talks with civilian Pakistan government is dangerous for our soldiers. From 1999, ABV who stupidly took Lahore bus trip hoping for immediate resolution of Kashmir , to Modi who stupidly took a quick detour to Pakistan turned out to be bad news for our army.

It's better if we don't talk for a while, let the militaries do the talking. Given there is a hotline between both our DG of Military operations when things go bad for both sides.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Pakistani counterpart Imran Khan had also exchanged pleasantries last month at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit but there were no formal talks. The two leaders did shake hands but there has not been any official meeting between the two leaders since Imran Khan took over as prime minister of Pakistan in August last year. India has not been engaging with Pakistan following the attack on the Air Force base at Pathankot in January of 2016, maintaining that talks and terror cannot go together

There has been a ‘diplomatic discussion’ with India regarding a possible meeting between the two prime minise, according to The Nation which quoted as official source at the Pakistan Forign Office.

“ This (the meeting) is being considered as Russia also wants Pakistan and India to remove misunderstandings and improve ties. We are very clear. We want to meet them (India) anywhere they like. It is for India to decide when they are ready,” said the official. There has been no confirmation from India on Monday.

The Pakistan Foreign Office official said that a meeting between Imran Khan and Modi would definitely be productive for peace in the region. “We have been struggling to convince them (India) that dialogue is the only way (to resolve bilateral issues),” he added.

“Whenever we have contact with the Indian aside (through the diplomatic channels or meetings) we emphasise the importance of dialogue,” he added.

In June, PM Khan had urged Narendra Modi to realise the goal of peace in the region through “collective endeavours.”

The foreign ministry earlier said in line with established diplomatic norms and inter-state practice, Prime Minister Imran Khan and Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi addressed letters to Indian Prime Minister Modi and Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, congratulating them on assumption of office.

its other way around, India is forced to behave. Indian state terrorism losing its grounds.

How??? Rather India is constantly have same position as there is no common ground with Pakistan to talk...It is Imran Khan who is requesting India to meet and discuss with us...So not sure who is forcing whom to talk here..

Since when does Russia has a say in India's Pakistani policy. It's more like Russia will facilitate India's policy with respect to Pakistan not the other way around.

You wont find out until you pick the fone up! THAT is how negotiations work!

Negotiations are done on topic that are not critical to integrity of a country..You might have a valid case in Kashmir issue but we are not agree with it nor would like to debate about it....Now you can call it whatever it suits you, but in order to have any negotiation...both side has to adhere to a starting point...

And on top of that we are fine with status quo of current situation...

. . .
We don't have any issues to discuss. There is no point in meeting a PM of hostile nation. Modi should use that time to meet Netanyahu, Trump, Putin, Jin Ping, or even that big fat Kim.

if there was hostility...your pilot wouldnt be handed back...

Guys...India always find support to have good relation from civilian Gov of Pakistan..We never complained about it..Starting with Vajpayee to Narendra modi in 1st term shown keen inteest in having good relation with Pakistan...But in return Vajpayee got Kargil war and Nawaz Sharifg was told as agent of Modi....Now...so much of hatred by your people towards any normalcy for relationship, India may have decided to stop this useless exercise of pretending that we are talking to each other..

Again...we are not talking does not mean, we are not doing well..

If you think that's your olive branch, you're terribly wrong. You averted another war. There isn't much to it other than that.

And there is and always hostility, Indian government failed to see it so far or they ignored it. This government may finally find a solution to the Pakistan problem, by ignoring them altogether and dealing with Kashmir in it's own way.

Besides, IK and his party is not that strong. The way GoI sees it, IK may have positive intent but his government is weak and depended on others. Unlike in India, who can make decisions on it's own without any party disrupting it.
