Modi to do ‘something’ in AJK: PM Imran
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan Thursday said Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Bajwa had assured him that the Pakistan Army was ready for India in case of an attack on Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK). In a tweet, the prime minister while commenting on the ceasefire violations by India at the Line of Control (LoC) said Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was making a failed attempt to divert the world’s attention from the atrocities his security forces were carrying out in the Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
“I am telling you now, Modi will use this [protests in India] to do something in Azad Kashmir,” he said.
“I informed Gen Bajwa about this and he told me that Pakistan Army is ready for India.”
He condoled with the families of two soldiers martyred at the LoC in the morning and said the nation acknowledged their sacrifice for the country.
He equated Modi with ‘Hitler and Pharaoh of time’ for his oppression against the Muslims, with incidents, including the earlier Gujarat massacre and the recent passing of Constitution Amendment Bill.
“It is my prediction that the people of India, not only Muslims but also Hindus, Sikhs and Christians will ultimately rise against Modi,” he said.
Meanwhile, in a tweet, Prime Minister Imran Khan urged the international community to wake up before the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) could commit the genocide of Muslims dwarfing other genocides.
“Whenever militias like Hitler’s Brown Shirts or RSS are formed, based upon hatred of a certain community, it always ends in genocide,” he said.
In his post, Imran also attached a tweet of Suchitra Vijayan – a Barrister at Law, writer, photographer, political essayist, and a lecturer which showed, in a video clip, the march of RSS uniformed people in an Indian state Telangana.
Suchitra Vijayan in her tweet said, “This is a RSS march from Telangana. They are mobilizing. RSS is the ideological child of the SS. They are Nazis in Khaki uniform. If the international community remains silent — you are complicit in endorsing the ongoing violence:”
