PM Imran Khan to visit Iran on 21 April

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will visit Iran on April 21, sources informed ARY News on Saturday.

Premier Khan is expected to meet Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and President Hassan Rouhani during his visit.

The purpose of the premier’s visit is to fortify Pak-Iran relations and call for unity between the Muslim Ummah, sources added.


This will be Khan’s maiden visit to Iran since coming to power.

Foreign Office spokesperson Mohammad Faisal during his weekly press briefing on Thursday confirmed reports of the PM’s trip and said “details will be shared in due course of time”.

Personally I would support that. Reason being is the only way you can increase your stock value in this world is if you have lots of avenues and links. On the contrary if you have less or non your stock value dips as you have no other options and other can 'buy you on the cheap'. One of the reason India recieves higher value then Pakistan is India will engage with -

Israel
Iran
USA
Europe
Saudia Arabia
etc

This means it always has options on the table and in any negotiations the others are aware that India has lots of other contenders. This means India always extracts the best deals.

Our relationship with the Saudis and Iranians shouldnt be about religion but economic and strategic common goals, this Islamic bradaaarrr thing always works derimental to Pakistani interests because both Iranians and Saudis act as much muslim as Abu Jahil did, both are cancers for the Islamic world. The only country with whom we can actually claim Islamic kinship is Turkey. With Iran and Saudis it should always be about geopolitical common goals.

To be honest I don't like looking through the sctarian prism. It is divisive and just a magnet for retards. Logic and reason go out ands you end up rubbish being flung from both sides. However I would say they are a Muslim country. What sect they are is immaterial.
