PM IMRAN KHAN, PTI MNAS TO ATTEND VOTE ON NO-TRUST MOTION

Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) has changed its strategy to deal with no-trust move as Prime Minister Imran Khan and all party MNAs will now be attending the National Assembly proceedings tomorrow, ARY NEWS reported.

According to sources, privy to the matter, the government is hopeful to defeat the no-trust move against the prime minister and has directed the party lawmakers to attend the National Assembly proceedings tomorrow.

Previously, it was decided that MNAs from treasury benches will remain absent on the voting day of a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan.


PM Imran Khan issued a set of instructions to the PTI MNAs as the ruling party chairman directing them to refrain from attending the National Assembly (NA) session on the day of voting on the no-confidence motion.

It was instructed that no MNA will stay in the Parliament House on the voting day, whereas, the violation of the party chairman’s instructions by any lawmaker will result in the imposition of Article 63 (A).

The set of instructions was sent individually to all PTI lawmakers.

After PM Khan’s directives, Senator Faisal Javed Khan shared the copy of the instructions and asked the party lawmakers to stay away from the conspiracy of the no-trust move.

There are rumours of a massive ruckus in the session or probably en masse resignations of the remaining PTI MNAs tomorrow!
SR has given a few more options some might be extra-constitutional.
A peaceful handover of power would have been ideal but some insane advisors are plunging the country into an abyss along with their own future.
Inciting or inviting the Cavalry into this self-created chaos may also be tantamount to invoking article 6 on the accused in the future.

Fake news. Pti never changed their strategy. Their strategy was no Nro and no resignation. They wanted this.

In future this will help Imran Khan immensely because now almost all major pakistan parties including mqm has been exposed dancing at foreign tunes.

I think few MNAs from both sides would be absent Imran khan would lose simple majority but would win no confidence vote and new elections would be called

first win no vote confidence and then stand and declare new election.

This will give saving of losing majority

What is the rule if suddenly situation turns violent ? Let's suppose members start exchanging blows , can speaker expel few dozen unruly members? Who can conveniently be from opposition side ? After all an important no confidence motion can not take place during such ruckus..
