Prime Minister Imran Khan arrived in Madina on Thursday on an official trip to Saudi Arabia where he will represent Pakistan at the two-day summit of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

The summit titled "Makkah Summit: Together for the Future" is scheduled to begin on Friday in Makkah, and will be chaired by Saudi King Salman. The purpose of the summit is to develop a unified stance on events underway in the Muslim world.

The premier will visit the Holy Prophet's (PBUH) grave and offer prayers before leaving for Jeddah, according to the state radio broadcaster.

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi had arrived in Saudi Arabia yesterday to attend the Council of Foreign Ministers of the OIC. The meeting is said to set the tone for the summit.

During the foreign ministers' meeting, Qureshi directed the participants' attention towards the human rights violations that are being carried out in Indian-occupied Kashmir and Palestine. He urged member states to support the constitution of a commission under the United Nations to investigate the atrocities being committed in held Kashmir.

He also called for measures to ensure the safety of Palestinians who he said were being persecuted by Israeli forces.

My personal opinion:

The only way you can make someone do something for you is by making them want to do it, genuinely and not at the point of a gun.

Pakistan should try to signify the importance of Kashmir issue and its effect on the Arab and Muslim world.

And to make it seem like an issue which is a unified issue for us, we must take and give heed to their issues. Only then will they associate our problems with their future.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has arrived in Madina Munawwarah as part of his three day visit to Saudi Arabia. He will visit Roza-e-Rasool (PBUH) and perform Nawafil at Masjid-e-Nabvi before leaving for Jeddah.

Prime Minister will represent Pakistan at the 14th Summit of Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Makkah.

The conference titled 'Makkah Summit: Together for the Future' will be held tomorrow hosted by Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has left for Saudi Arabia to attend the 14th OIC Summit to be held in Makkah on Friday.

The title of the conference is “Mecca Summit: Together for the Future.”

The summit to be chaired by King Salman aims to develop a unified stance on current issues and events in the Islamic world.

Ahead of the Summit, a meeting of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers was held in Jeddah.

It deliberated on adopted outcome documents for the Makkah Summit.

Speaking during the meeting, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi drew the participants' attention towards grave human rights violations taking place in occupied Kashmir.

He sought support of the OIC member states for constituting a commission of inquiry under the UN to investigate the violations and excesses in the held territory.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi also made a detailed reference to the situation in Palestine, strongly condemning the continuing Israeli atrocities against innocent Palestinians.

He called for consideration of measures to guarantee the safety and security of Palestinians in the occupied territories.

The Foreign Minister reaffirmed Pakistan's full solidarity with the Palestinian people and renewed its call for establishment of a viable, independent, and contiguous state of Palestine with Al-Quds al Sharif as its capital.

unfortunately my dear Imran, noone cares; KSA is doing a boosbarade 'bush meeting' to huddle support for their proxy war.

So the first thing Qureshi does is rob himself of credibility in the eyes of his hosts: since they all know that the accusations against Israel are false (even if they don't publicly acknowledge this) why shouldn't they assume the same thing about Kashmir? And then, if the Kashmir stuff is fake, why risk relations with India by giving Pakistan diplomatic support?

The same OIC produces special platform and statements for Palestine and denounces Israel every summit. It is , agreed upon, so really?

Have you discovered any resonance to Pakistan's many attempts to link Kashmir and Palestine?

.
OIC is literally one of the most pointless organisation in the world, I don't know why @Solomon2 is getting so triggered. Chill out mate no one is going to unite and say conquer Israel. Last I heard the Saudis want to be your best buddies. This is just for Saudis to try and garner some sort of Sunni alliance against Iran.
