as PM khan has said Pakistan has twovmajor issues
Fiscal deficit
And
CAD

Govt has to bring its fiscal deficit to less than 5% immediate and CAD to 2% of GDP(6b$) this was projected to be at 24b(8%) at beginning of this year..projection's for this yr are wide somewhere from 10-15b $(3-4%). If govt is able to balance books next yr it will avoid IMF unless IMF budges than Pakistan will sign IMF for additional funding
So this yr
1. 2018 FD 6.6+3-4% undeclared------>2018-19 to 5.1% +1-2% undeclared
2. 2018 CAD 6% of gdp ------->4% of GDP( projected was 8% before measures)

Good, stick it to em
Problem is time..time before he runs out of money

New issue is how middle class use to abuse gas use via gessars..niw when they cant afford it all are in hue and cry

I remember even i couldn't afford gessar back 5 years ago ..we use to warm water via electric gesar just before we needed to use it..as gas use apart from cooking will throw the bill over 1000rs

80% of Pakistan doesnt even has gas

Going to IMF or not is a choice to be made by Pakistan, with pros and cons of each choice PMIK needs to consider before making the decision. I am sure he will choose wisely.

Meaning he won't or you think he won't.

I am glad pakistani government is conducting due diligence
it would help Imran's case if he outlined what exactly was unacceptable to the public

I do not know, and I would not second guess him at all. His deliberated steps to date indicate that he is taking into account all variables before he decides.

I will say that there are positives and negatives to any decision he will make, but it is up to him to manage the aftermath as well. For the first time in history, I am confident that what a sitting PM decides will actually be the better choice for the country.

IMF is advised to be cautious about Pakistan bailout as well.

Pakistani governments do prefer IMF historically. The decision will hardly be a surprise

the odds of IMF bailout is high. it is a matter of timing and conditionality
