Please pray for my father

.
Whatever the Almighty has predetermined his age, may he live it with health and in the company of his loved ones, and may the Almighty give his family members and you in particular the strength and courage to pass these testing times with ease. Amen.

O Lord,
Only you know how hard life has been for me.
Only you have seen each moment of my day and night.
Only you feel my pain and understand my discomfort.
Only you are beside me through my grief and sorrow.
Only you have been within each moment to comfort me.
O Lord, break through the loneliness of my suffering.
You have encountered sorrow and laid a glorious path
Of hope, healing and the promise of heaven in my heart.

Amen.

My father is not well and admitted in the hospital, he is so weak that it is not tolerable for us to his state of health. Please pray for his speedy recovery and May Allah give him 100 years of life.

Hi,

My father died when I was 19 and he was 52----a middle aged a doctor----multiple heart attacks and he was gone---in the blink of an eye. I am glad that his life ended in dignity and without suffering.

I sat next to my grand father at 6 in the morning and a servant was sitting next to me---when Allah decided that it was his time to go. Our servant asked me to get the doctor right away----I told him no----it is his time---he has suffered a lot---he was around 87 years old at that time I think.

Cancer pain is ruthless---it is brutal---it is excruciating----it is tearing you apart form inside like a hot knife---cutting thru your organs----. It is a continuous pain at a high degree like no other for some cases when it gets to the terminal stage.

My uncle passed away from the cancer of urinary tract about a year and a half----. He was a doctor himself----in his last few days----he was screaming in pain all day till he would pas out---one day the nurse that came to the house to take care of him could not take it anymore---had mercy on him and I firmly believe gave him a couple of extra doses of morphine----and put him to eternal sleep----God bless the nurse's soul---for my uncle was a very honest but a very proud man----who worked into his 80's from dawn till dusk at his practice till he could work no more---but could not beg to have his life ended.

Is your father at a point where there is no return. How bad is his pain----. What kind of man is your father---is he a proud man---is he someone who would not complain and swallow his pain----how about the son that you are----. Do you understand the pain that your father is going thru?

Just remember over everything else---The Dignity In Death---. I have told my 16 and 13 years old to not let me suffer and pull the plug----. I have enjoyed a great life---and if it is time for me to meet my maker---it would rather be sooner than later.

Be strong---seems like your father had a great life and raised good kids----. If he is at a stage where there is no return---then have the courage and strength to let him pass thru---.

Just remember the dignity he had while living---he deserves the same dignity in passing away---.
I respect your opinion but I think you lost your father too early and it's been another century of life you have enjoyed after him so it doesn't hurt you as much as compared to those who are still blessed with the shadow/benevolence of their parents. I know it really hurts when you are at such condition and once the person is passed away, after a while, Allah bestows mankind with the best of his gifts called "Patience".

But see your opinion a part, I could let my life slip away and may write a WILL before reaching to such stage for letting me off the hook before I become a pain for my children but see my Father is not facing any severe pain a part from minor complaints about pain in his feet sometimes. He has never given us trouble in our life and is the most gentleman I have seen or met in life regardless of his beloved relationship with me. We just have no guts to face severe condition of him, we can't even imagine living without him but if such stage ever comes, it is the will of Allah and I know he will bestow us with the best of his gifts "patience".

But for the last breath I am alive, I can do nothing but pray for the longer life of my father who has been so dear and kind to me for the whole of my life and I have never had an opportunity to pay back little to him for whatever he did for me in my entire life. It's more painful as I have not been able to pay back him the love he truly deserved and even now when he is admitted in the hospital, I could not be with him due to complicated circumstances. I was in Pakistan couple of days ago but I have recently had 4 trips to Pakistan since past 2 and half years and it is heart wrenching to see I couldn't be with him when he needed me the most.

Life and death is the will of God and everybody has to go one day but as I said, it is hard to imagine a house without him and I know one of us might just die regretting for the whole of his life.
