India doesn't need DF-31AG, that's an ICBM! Moreover the tweet mentioned 11200km is range for DF-31A, it should be 12500-14000 for DF-31AG depending on the warhead/payload config.

PLARF has massive stocks of SRBM or MRDM like DF-15, DF-21, DF-26 and such to cover whole territory of India from Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, with nuclear or a wide range conventional warheads.

The DF-15 (M-9; Dong Feng-15; NATO: CSS-6) is a short-range, road-mobile, solid-fueled ballistic missile. It has a maximum range of 600 – 900 km and can deliver a 500 – 750 kg payload, with conventional warheads optimized for precision strike, bunker-busting, and anti-runway operations.
