This is funny to me as someone that has over 100 kabootar in my farm house. Do any Indians know how to train a kabootar to travel between houses and then deliver a message?

Anybody with even basic knowledge of pidgeons will laugh at such bullshit news. First and foremost you'd have to create two dens where the bird has to travel due to offspring. Actually **** trying to rationalize this. Indians are fucking retarded...

well, in all fairness, pigeons have been used for messaging , courier duties as late as world war 1 when front line troops in trenches were sent orders via special pigeons.

theres even an episode in the BBC sitcom " black adder goes forth" , wherein all comm lines broke given german shelling and general melchet sent a courier pigeon to major black adder , <the order was to attack german lines>.

major black adder promptly shot and ate the pigeon

When they landed, wires in the coop would sound a bell or buzzer and a soldier of the signal corps would know a message had arrived. He would go to the coop, remove the message from the canister, and send it to its destination by telegraph, field phone, or personal messenger.

A carrier pigeon's job was dangerous. Nearby enemy soldiers often tried to shoot down pigeons, knowing that released birds were carrying important messages. Some of these pigeons became quite famous among the infantrymen they worked for. One pigeon, named "The Mocker", flew 52 missions before he was wounded. Another, named "cher", lost her foot and one eye, but her message got through,
