Peshawar to Karachi - Estimated HSR Cost: $33 billion.

He is a pathetic liar sob.
No, he just spoke the truth. We have an extremist society hijacked by mullahs that doesn't tolerate any other sect but Wahabis. If you don't agree, visit Pakistan and see for yourself.

You should be smart enough to get the answer - you can do it on your own. But don't underestimate the CEO's interest. They both do software, and software only requires people sitting in nice offices, or even remoting in from home. You are simply underestimating our potential for exports.

Yes, tell them boldly and confidently that people are really angry with Western interference which hangs like a pall over the Supreme Court's judgement. Tell them if Aasia is indeed innocent, she would be safer without their governments poking their noses where they don't belong.

Yeh i did get that you were chickening out but i gave you another chance but you proved it that you are just a typical mullah lover whos all talk but cant walk the talk.

@Game.Invade

found this on subject of water-freight, its interesting:

Wonder if any progress made on the study/pilot project?

@Indus Pakistan @django @Zibago @ziaulislam @war&peace

@Signalian
Indus can be utilized but itd require a huge capital and a united nation. I mean our people are against building dams/reservoirs for their own survival, they'd definitely find something wrong with this one as well.
Politics aside, it can be developed on incremental basis and would certainly benefit the EEZ located in Nowshera and surrounding districts, from where onwards Indus enters the plains of Punjab.

Forgive me for blowing smoke today.

Distance from Karachi to Peshawar connecting all major cities and divisions in between including, Hyderabad, Multan, Faisalabad, Lahore etc will be around 1800 km (est).

China is building its high speed railway at a cost of $30 million per mile, which works out to be about $33 billion dollars in order to build a Peshawar to Karachi HSR connecting a market of over 200 million people.

Each train carries up to 1500 passagers.

Journey takes 5-6 hrs.

Let's assume, there's an investor who wants to build this HSR project.

Q: Would it make sense?
Q: What are potential benefits & risks?

key word is china is building it...
if china builds it for pakistan the cost will be >100 billion dollars
if another country builds it it will be around 200 billion dollars(LA high speed 800km cost around 70 billion dollars)

second in a country where no body wants to pay fees it will be very difficult to run

I am not your servant to do your bidding. If you don't go out and make that video, you are the chicken.

.
first focus should be speedy building of 160k traim which has hit hurdles

PML N threw out the AB model saying it was too slow(but cost effective) and opted for Chinese model and than hesitated because china was milking us too much

cost is around 8 billion dollars, actually nearly 20% higher if we build it throw competitive bidding but its well worth it given each yr the loses we are having is tremendous

high speed can later be though among big cities like karachi hyderabad, lahore fasilabad

Wrong. MMA.
No, every mullah in Pakistan considers himself a morally superior being that holds an authority and the right to grant Muslim, No Muslim licenses. They've to be regulated, their sermons, their activities and gatherings investigated. Just learn 10 surahs from Quran and you're entitled to ranks and proviliges of this mafia.
@Indus Pakistan

.
Very costly for Pakistan, no one will finance it in short term. Best option for now is $8b CPEC project to upgrade railways to speed of 160km/h.

Maybe in 50 years.

For now motorways and upgraded railways should be good enough. Also make air travel cheaper between north and south.
future is probably hyperloop with speeds of >500km/hr..in 20 years thats might be what countries will be doing

You are wrong. And the fact of the matter is that you cannot regulate them, Insha Allah. Go bang your head on a wall.

Wrong? Just because I stated the facts? I was born and raised in that society and I know how it works. Every Mullah is up in arms when the likes of Rizvi calls for destruction and revenge. They'll be regulated and hanged if they're caught spreading their extremist agendas, mark my words.

Probably, once CPEC railway upgrade is complete Pakistan will not think about bullet trains for many decades.

Too bad for Maulana Imran Dharnabadi.
