PDF members that should write a book about Pakistan/Pakistanis...

It's tough to get into your 'element', i often get in the mood and post something every now and then.

The way I see it the real hard part is not being a writer, the author usually writes about what he likes anyway. The hard part is getting published. i have written more than 60 articles/blogposts and 2 books. Only a few articles published and no books. Very hard job for authors out there.

I have written a book about the WOT in Pakistan. That was my first book. But getting published is a very difficult thing. Its no longer you write the book and you are done with your problems forever. You have to make publishers/literary agents ready to sell it.

Have you thought about self publishing it from your blog in .PDF or any other digital format? Many people here on this forum might want to read it. Thats a start.

It's already been suggested to WAJsal that he might like to consult Professor Munshi, who did her doctoral work on Burushaski. Suspect nothing much came of it.

The right person to write a book on Pakistan would be my dear friend Prof Riazul Haq sb.

@kaaptan book no doubt about it will focus on the myths of India and Pakistan and the nations that preceded them. It's gonna burn a lot of people in the subcontinent.

@Oscar can write a good military book along with @Joe Shearer bcz people really need to start understanding how LOC works and how different it is from our perception and what are the lives of the people who live there and ofcourse the life of the soldier who lives there. It may aid us in solving our issues.

@WAJsal I got two words for you. Cultural book. Don't even bother with anything else bcz the rest of Pakistan really needs an education on our cultures...

Let's see who else can write a book. Where is hellfire? That guy always gives the impression that he knows more than he let's on and I am not talking about sensitive information but regional understanding.

@pakistani342 on afpak affairs and how they have effected the past, present and will effect the future. It can cover possibility/impossibility of a merger with a snazzy title. Hmm something with Durand line in it.

Id write a book on the complexities of poop shapes before Pakistan. Much more interesting subject; cunted you all are.

On a serious note, a proper investigative book is needed on the various maritime issues facing Pakistan including eez, shipping lanes and other dodahs

He got banned ( don't know why. Was a polite member) and haven't him seen since then. Sad bcz he was a good member. Very pro govt but thats cool and it was nice to have a sensible member from Afghanistan.
