A Pakistani man, who got left hand middle finger severed in an accident, landed in more trouble after a surgery to fix the limb.

In a striking case of medical negligence the local government doctor fixed the finger the wrong way. The patient spoke to the media and shared his distress.

The incident occurred at Battagram, in the remote Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The information and photo was shared by ARY journalist Omar Quiraishi.

I feel sorry for this poor Pakistani... Hope this Pakistani doctor's license is banned forever..

Gosh i don't wanna say this and i know that exceptions are always there, but Pakistani doctors are very unprofessional and incompetent. In Pakistan the profession of medical is more of a money minting industry and even when you pay well, chances are you still wont get the treatment you deserve.

The heck? Someone take away that doc's license and NEVER allow him/her to practice...if they cant differentiate right side up of a finger.....no telling what other mess up they can commit!

Just one innocent question:
How can anyone on earth reattach a completely severed body without a team of highly professional and expert doctors raging from Anesthetist, Surgical Splst, Orthopadic, Neuro surgeon etc and there is no such team available even in near vicinity of Batagram. A quake doctor's work forsure. For this i wud not blame Pakistani Doctors, nor wud point fingers at their competence. We have likes of Dr Taj who practices in a Govt Hospital to name a few.
