Manama, May 4 (BNA) – Chairman of Council of Representatives, Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Dhahrani, tomorrow will lead a parliamentary delegation on a 2-day visit to Pakistan to hold talks with Pakistani officials.
Delegation member, MP Sameer Al-Khadim, said the visit aims to boost economic, trade, security, defence and political relations between the two countries, and to coordinate with the Pakistani side on the agreements signed during the historic visit of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to Pakistan.
The delegation is scheduled to meet Pakistani President, Prime Minister and will visit the National Assembly, Senate, in addition to hold meetings with the Bahraini-Pakistani Friendship Committee.
The delegation comprises a number of parliamentarians, including Ahmed Qurata, Ali Zayed, Sameer Al-Khadim, Mohammad Bu-Kais, and is accompanied by Council of Representatives' presidency Director Sameer Al-Fayez, Head of Presidential Protocol Yacoub Al-Khalidi and Head of Media Department, Mohammad Al-Ahmed.
